Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
