And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two receiving angels receive from him, one seated on the right and one on the left. 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 [every] withholder of good [and] sinful aggressor [and] fomentor of distrust [between man and man - everyone] 25 Who setteth up another god along with Allah. Do ye twain hurl him to the dreadful doom. 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29
