▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 right before your very eyes? 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
