Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 storming tempestuously 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
