No, by the moon! 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning for people -- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 in Gardens they will question 40 From the guilty. 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until death approached us". 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
