Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
