Say: Travel in the land, then see what was the end of the rejecters. 11 Say: "To whom belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "To Allah. He hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. That He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment, there is no doubt whatever. It is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe. 12 ۞ And to Him belongs whatsoever inhabits the night and the day; and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.' 13 Say: "Am I to take for my master anyone but God, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, when it is He who gives nourishment and Himself needs none?" Say: "I am bidden to be foremost among those who surrender themselves unto God, and not to be among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him." 14 Say: 'Surely do I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of an awesome Day. 15 "On that day, if the penalty is averted from any, it is due to Allah's mercy; And that would be (Salvation), the obvious fulfilment of all desire. 16 And if God should touch thee with misfortune, there is none who could remove it but He; and if He should touch thee with good fortune - it is He who has the power to will anything: 17 He is Wise, Well Aware and Dominant over all His creatures. 18 Say: "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah?" Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one Allah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him." 19 Those whom We have given the Book recognize him as they recognize their sons; (as for) those who have lost their souls, they will not believe. 20
