▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

Let not the deniers of the truth be deluded that they will gain any advantage. Surely, they, can never overcome Us! 59 And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, then incline to it and trust in Allah; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 61 If they try to cheat you, God is surely sufficient for you. It is He who has strengthened you with His help and with believers 62 Whose hearts He cemented with love. You could never have united their hearts even if you had spent whatever (wealth) is in the earth; but God united them with love, for He is all-mighty and all-wise. 63 O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers. 64
