۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
