We have turned about in this Koran, that they may remember; and it increases them only in aversion. 41 Say: "Had there been other gods with Him, as they assert, they would surely have sought a way (of opposition) against the Lord of the Throne." 42 Hallowed be He, and exalted be He above that which they say - a great height! 43 The seven heavens and the earth, and whosoever in them is, extol Him; nothing is, that does not proclaim His praise, but you do not understand their extolling. Surely He is All-clement, All-forgiving. 44 And when you read the Qur’an O dear Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings upon him), We created an invisible barrier between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter. 45 We put a veil over their hearts so that they cannot understand it. We deafen their ears. When you mention your Lord in this Quran as One (Supreme Being), they run away. 46 We know what they want to hear when they listen to you. They whisper to each other and say, "You are only following a bewitched person". 47 See what examples they have put forward for you. So they have gone astray, and never can they find a way. 48 And they say, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we [truly] be resurrected as a new creation?" 49 Say, "Be you stones or iron 50 ۞ Or some other creature of those which are too hard (to receive life) in your minds! But they will say: Who will return us? Say: Who created you at first. Still they will shake their heads at you and say: When will it be? Say: Maybe it has drawn nigh. 51 “The day when He will call you and you will come praising Him, thinking you have stayed only a little.” 52

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
