And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
