Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
