The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night enshrouding 1 And by oath of the day when it shines 2 By (the mystery of) the creation of male and female;- 3 your striving is indeed to different ends! 4 Then as for him who giveths and feareth Him. 5 and believes in the truth of the ultimate good 6 We shall surely ease him to the Easing. 7 but for him that is a miser, and sufficed, 8 And disbelieveth in goodness; 9 We shall surely ease him to the Hardship; 10 Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit). 11 Indeed guiding is upon Us. 12 and to Us belong the Next Life and the present. 13 Therefore I have warned you of a Fire blazing fiercely (Hell); 14 None shall enter it but the most unhappy, 15 The one who denied and turned away. 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 He who spends his wealth for increase in self-purification, 18 And no one has done a favour to him, for which he should be compensated. 19 seeking only the Face of his Lord, the Most High, 20 He verily will be content. 21
Almighty God's Truth.
