Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
