It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
