It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
