Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 They say: Nay, but you (misleaders), for you there is no word of welcome. Ye prepared this for us (by your misleading). Now hapless is the plight. 60 [And] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Whoever has prepared this for us, double Thou his suffering in the fire!" 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
