In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the loosed ones successively 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 and the severally severing 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed time? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
