The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the night as it envelops; 1 and the day in splendour 2 And Him who created the male and female, 3 Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends! 4 As for him who gives and is godfearing 5 And believed the best matter to be true 6 We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss. 7 And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah), 8 and have no faith in receiving any reward (from God). 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 and what will his wealth avail him when he goes down [to his grave]? 11 Surely, it is for Us to provide guidance -- 12 and to Us belongs the Hereafter as well as the present world -- 13 and so I warn you of the raging fire 14 Which only the most wretched must endure, 15 Who denied (the truth) and turned away. 16 But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,- 17 Who gives away his wealth, purifying himself 18 They do not expect any reward 19 Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. 20 And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction. 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
