Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
