Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24
And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The chieftains of his people said: Lo! we see thee surely in plain error. 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I am conveying my Lord's messages to you and giving you sincere advice. I know things from God that you do not. 62 Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy." 63 But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people. 64
