Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
