Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
