۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
