We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
