Say: 'I call only upon my Lord, and I do not associate with Him anyone. 20 Say thou: verily I own not for you power of hurt nor of benefit 21 Say: Lo! none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge beside Him 22 Mine is but the publishing from Allah and His messages; and whosoever disobeyeth Allah and His apostle, his portion verily is the Hell-Fire as abiders therein for evermore. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say: "I do not know if what is promised you is near, or if my Lord prolongs its term. 25 He [alone] knows that which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, and to none does He disclose aught of the mysteries of His Own unfathomable knowledge, 26 Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. 27 so that He may know that they have delivered the Messages of their Lord and He encompasses all that is with them, and He has counted everything in numbers' 28
