The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
