Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
