Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 And We have made this Qur'an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
