▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
