Nay, by the Moon 32 and the night when it retreats 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 From the guilty. 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
