Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
