Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
