And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
