But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
