Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 and the severally severing 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 As justification or warning, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
