Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
