Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a right way. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
