The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 in extended columns. 9
