Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 They who would be seen, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
