Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
