Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
