Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a straight path; 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
