Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
