The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
