Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of the Daybreak 1 "from the evil of aught that He has created, 2 "and from the evil of the black darkness whenever it descends, 3 From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots, 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies.” 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
