And as for those who emigrated for the Cause of Allah, after suffering oppression, We will certainly give them goodly residence in this world, but indeed the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they but knew! 41 [They are] those who endured patiently and upon their Lord relied. 42 We never sent but men before you to whom We revealed, ask the people of the Remembrance, if you do not know. 43 [We sent them] with clear signs and scriptures. We have sent down the Reminder to you, to enable you to make clear to mankind what has been sent down to them, so that they may reflect upon it. 44 Do they then who plan evil (deeds) feel secure (of this) that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that punishment may not overtake them from whence they do not perceive? 45 Or that He may catch them in the midst of their going to and fro (in their jobs), so that there be no escape for them (from Allah's Punishment)? 46 or that He will not seize them when they are apprehensive of the impending calamity? Surely your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 47 Have they not observed things that Allah has created, (how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly? 48 Everything in the heavens and every crawling creature on earth, and the angels prostrate to Allah and they are not proud; 49 They fear their Lord above them, and do what they are bidden. ۩ 50
