Blest be He Who hath placed big stars in the heaven, and hath placed therein a lamp and a moon enlightening. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 Indeed, it is an evil abode and evil dwelling-place." 66 And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 Multiplied for him shall be the torment on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall therein abide disgraced. 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 [Such as] these will be rewarded for all their patient endurance [in life] with a high station [in paradise,] and will be met therein with a greeting of welcome and peace, 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 SAY [unto those who believe]: "No weight or value would my Sustainer attach to you were it not for your faith [in Him]!" And say unto those who deny [the truth:] "You have indeed given the lie [to God's message,] and in time this [sin] will cleave unto you!" 77
