1/4 Hizb 38

The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people, 181 weigh with an even balance 182 And do not withhold from people what belongs to them, and do not corrupt the land; 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar! 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 But they denied him, and We seized them with the torment of the Day of Shadowing (when the cloud had rained down fire). It was indeed the torment of a terrible day! 189 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 190 And most surely your Lord is Mighty, the Merciful. 191

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
