And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
